Hi Irma,
thanks for the nice words and for getting me out of doubt.

I did some research about the perfumes you mentioned, and it looks like Casaque can still be found.

Diorissimo is also in production, and it can still be found on the internet, although I'd swear I saw it in a department store downtown.

About "Paco Rabanne for women" did you mean Calandre or one of its flankers by any chance? Because that also seems to be still in production.

BTW, here's a list of all Paco Rabanne's perfume until 2006:

http://www.fashionmodeldirectory.com/designers/paco-rabanne/

Of course, with so old perfumes there is little or no chance that they smell exactly as they did.

Hei just out of curiosity: is this you?

Hello,

I enjoyed your perfume descriptions.

Cashmere Mist - yes, I love it. What you described is exactly as I find it. (Finally bought my own tonight, at an outlet mall discount beauty products store (Ellenton Mall, Sarasota, FL) where they had bottles of CM only slightly discounted but had a packaged set of 7 individual, identical spray bottles of the perfume for an affordable price.

I have Amarige, but it is too strong for my taste, and, comparing it to the CM, is much brighter.

I'm 68 years old, so some of my past favorites are no longer made (spellings are approximate):

1. Sampler bottle via Seventeen Magazine offer when I was 15: Casaque by Jean D'Albret - light lilies & citrus? Actually still have a tiny bottle (maybe the only one I had?) from 1960s, refrigerated all these years (the glass stopper top sheared off). I can still smell the fragrance (through the plastic stopper? it seems so unlikely, but true). Maybe someday I'll find someone to salvage the liquid for me. Discontinued when Jean D'Albret factory closed in France 1960s or '70s. Online, tonight, one bottle is offered for $225 for 2 oz.

2. Paco Rabane for women. Macys carried in 1970s but the maker seemed to drop it then, in favor of only a line by the same name for men.

3. Diorrissimo by Chanel. Wore in 1970s and '80s. Discontinued (in 90s?). I have bought (old stock) since, but not sure it smells as it should.

I'll try your recommended Lalique, out of curiosity.

Hi Martina,

about where to buy, I honeslty have no idea, hopefully somone will read and leave comment.
I assume in the Philippines it woke like everywhere else: you can carry liquids on the aircraft with you up to 100ml. For larger quantities, you will have ti check-in the luggage.

Hi Liz, thanks for stopping by.
Palazzo was discontinued in 2009, read all about it <a href="http://www.mimifroufrou.com/scentedsalamander/2009/04/fendi_palazzo_discontinued_aft.html" rel="nofollow">here</a>.
The good news is, online is almost always cheaper and as stocks of the perfume will run out, it will be even chaper. So grab a couple of bottles while you can and make sure your next 10 winters are covered.
