Here is a good, honest, transparent fragrance, willing to do a lot to please the nose. Crystalline is an appropriate name for this version of Omnia Bvlgari, at least in its first part.
The perfumer is the ubiquitous Alberto Morillas, with many other Bvlgari fragrances, or many of the 212 Carolina Herrera, plus Aqua di Gio, Miracle by Lancome and on and on).
The opening is half fruity – with pear, or something to that effect – and half aquatic. After the canonical 15-20 minutes, the most transparent notes will leave room to the floral side, with a soft, and slightly bitter aroma that comes from lotus blossom and probably tea, which is a quite common ingredient in Bvlgari perfumes.
So far, Bulgari Omnia Crystalline is a fresh, clean and shy girl, pretty and well mannered. She won’t be the life of the party, preferring to stand at a corner of the kitchen, holding a bottle of beer and doing some quiet casual talk with friends of friends.
Yet, I got the impression that you don’t want to challenge its introversion. In other words, you still don’t want to spray too much of it, or this good girl may show you her cloying side.
This feeling is confirmed at a more advanced stage of the heart notes, when the attitude of the fragrance changes, becoming more intense and showing a certain kind of sweetness, most likely from the florals.
The base should bring woodsy notes, but after that attempt to be flirtatious and trendy, Bvlgari Omnia perfume decided to leave the blotter before time. No warning: I went to get myself a cup of coffee, and when I came back she just wasn’t there anymore.
