The unofficial category of harmless perfumes has a new entry: Curious Britney Spears Perfume. Just to be clear: that doesn’t mean bad, by any means. On the contrary, it’s a quite nice fragrance, but, wait a second, where did I smell this before? Oh, right: here, and here, and here and here and here. Although, in all fairness, it’s a bit less floral then those above, but still less fruity than its cousin Fantasy perfume.
The opening is in a hubba-bubba tutti-frutti style, sweet but not too much, and with indefinite florals in the background.
It settles down to a sweet vanilla, tamed by more prominent florals. The intensity is indeed very low. I actually read more than one complaint about the duration of Britney Spears Perfume Curious, but then again I had to ask the SA to spray it for me on the blotter (just like it happened with Black XS for women), so what do I know?
Before it disappeared completely, I barely had the time to smell vanilla and musk, with the florals almost completely gone.
Like the ones linked above (and many others that are yet to be reviewed in this perfume blog), this Britney Curious is for young women, or for older ones that are not afraid to show off a certain type of spirit. The younger you are however the wider the range of occasions you can wear this: from grocery shopping to your own wedding.
As there are many similar to this on the market, if you like it, buy it and wear it, if you start trying them all, it may be a waste of time.
